Landing one at a time, Paddle to Lummi 2007

Tradition has it that when you arrive at another tribe's shore you must get permission to land, which is granted with much ceremony, speeches, and singing. This is done one canoe at a time and took a whole day to land all the crews as there were over seventy canoes.
